Hello, I'm Vergil. I just love technology, I created this blog along with my re-kindled interest in embedded systems and systems programming in general. I used to write firmware and device drivers before, but ever since I moved to writing applications in userland with C++ and Java, I now missed writing low level stuff dearly. With the arrival of my raspberry pi and some ARM Cortex M development boards, I now have the chance to play around with them again.
This blog documents my experiments - to (re)learn writing low level linux device drivers again, writing firmware for several RTOS, and in designing asic with VHDL. Occasionally I'll be posting my adventures in signal processing, control systems and the like.
